A Closer Look

This solidly built band-pass sub bass is tuned low for electronic music or projecting live “kick” into larger venue spaces. Particularly when set up as a ground stack of two vertical boxes, the HPI18LP package benefits from coupling to deliver punchy extended low frequency to medium to larger venue spaces.

The floorspace footprint the same as the 2 x 12″ HPI212S sub and the systems can be operated together in a parallel or an electronically band-passed ground stack. The casings have interlocking feet giving the system a very “integrated” appearance.

Mobile Sound or Permanent Installation

The HPI18LP casing contains threaded inserts for flying in permanent installations and also a 35mm speaker pole top hat for mounting satellite boxes. The speakon connector panel is recessed to prevent accidental damage to the speaker cable connectors and acts as a cable strain relief for more reliability.
