CODA’s G-Series boxes are made with versatility in mind: full range systems that incorporate top end drivers; as a result, they’re suitable for a wide range of applications. The G300 Series includes the G308/G308-Pro and the G-15 sub, and as is always the case with CODA, it all starts with the drivers: it’s a compact, smart 2-way system with wide dispersion, incorporating top quality patented annular HF drivers with a 1.5-inch voice coil, and ultra-low distortion neodymium woofers with a 2-inch voice coil and double demodulation rings. The G308/G308-Pro boasts a power handling of 220W, has an 8-inch cone driver, and 1-inch compression driver – but these are no ordinary compression drivers, of course: the HF drivers contain CODA’s unique CuCup technology, which dramatically reduces intermodulation distortion, and in turn, deliver the most pristine and transparent audio. It’s also simple to mount them on walls or ceilings thanks to its M6 flying points for optional U-brackets, making it a no-brainer for any touring or install application: it’s a great choice for small clubs, bands, corporate events – even as a 5.1 surround solution or a dedicated stage monitor. The sky really is the limit. Low end reinforcement comes courtesy of the compact G15 Sub and its 15-inch neodymium ultra-low distortion woofer. It packs a serious punch as 1200W, and is the perfect partner to the G308/G308-Pro.
