T4 M featuring the flag ship of the KS AUDIO line of floor monitors. A compact 2-way bi-amped speaker with the highest level of performance, sound pressure levels, and audio quality and it’s loading capacity down to the lowest frequencies. T 4 M is unmatched in the industry in regards to the lowest distortion and absolute phase linearity in the smallest size possible. With the 12”- long excursion low-mid speaker that can handle 700W and a 2” driver that can handle 140W the T4 gives you long term power with peak of 2000W. The sound dispersion in the mid / high horn is completely even across the audio spectrum and the HF wave front continues thru the cut-off frequency as well as the crossover frequency, without any variance in the frequency response. Both the 12”- long excursion low-mid speaker with a 4” voice coil and the 2” compression driver with a 4” diaphragm have strong but light Neodymium-Magnets, which will spoil you with it’s even and smooth dispersion characteristics. The 4” membrane of the compression driver consists of a special Material that has a clearly reduced distortion factor in comparison to a titanium membrane. The T4M dispersion properties are optimized for use as a stage monitor. Both horizontal and vertical dispersion angles are 60 degrees. The 45 degree angling of the speaker cabinet it’s self, results in an even dispersion at ear level, especially in the nearfield of the monitors. The artist has a large sweet spot to use without risking feedback or loss of definition which gives the artist a great freedom to move and enabling the sound engineer to keep control at any point. T4M is designed to operate as a FOH speaker as well. The speaker cabinet construction is, like any KS AUDIO product, built from birch plywood with PU coating. All RAL colors available. There is a pole mount in the bottom of the cabinet and a protective steel grill on the front, with or without acoustic foam, and handles on the top and sides are further features of this premium product.
