With CPD 15, KS AUDIO has responded to the demanding needs of the professional user with a universal, self-powered loudspeaker with the highest audio quality in a compact size. There is no limit of applications in which the CPD 15 can be used: Theatre, Live-stage Music, in large rooms or tents, as a delay system for long throw, and last but not least as a compact middle-high sound system in combination with the CPD W15 or CPD SUB self-powered Sub-Woofers. CPD 15 is equipped with a neodymium 12”- long excursion low-mid speaker with 700Wrms power handling , a 2” neodymium driver with a 4” diaphragm made of a special light-metal alloy, and a CD-Horn with exceedingly precise directivity. Every component in the system also has the latest technology: neodymium-magnets, a wide-range switch mode power supply with PFC, PWM, and FET amplifiers, as well as digital signal processing with FIR filters. The rear mounted, separately housed, 2-way PWM + MOSFET Controller /amplifier operates without the need of a cooling fan thus avoiding the typical fan noise found in most amplifiers. The electronically balanced analog in/out and AES/EBU section is equipped with XLR F+M connectors. The unit is controlled via digital rotary knob, menu configuration shown on LCD graphic display. All adjusted levels, filters, and delay-settings are permanently saved. Once more KS AUDIO presents an improvement: Audio Over Ethernet direct from your console or PC into the active loudspeaker via DANTE option! Furthermore, every Loudspeaker can be addressed to an adjustable IP address, and over the same network all functions of the system can be monitored and controlled via KS AUDIO REMOTE software. The speaker box construction is, like any KS AUDIO system, built from birch plywood with a polyurethane coating. At your request the finish can be changed to any desired color from the RAL color charts. Integrated handles, standard pole mount, M10 rigging points, ANCRA flying track for double-stud as well as a protective steel grill, with or without acoustic foam, are all further features of this premium product.
